My client approaching retirement is keen to locate a successor to take over his Tax advice practice that focuses on the UK and Australian residents.

The practice is portable and requires annual visits to Australia so would suit someone with a connection to Australia.

THe principal is happy to offer a full handover/mentor role to assist with the client handover.

Advice Comprises;

Structuring the tax strategy for those moving countries +/- their assets. Predominantly from the UK to Australia, but do cover other countries;

International tax structuring for Australian businesses looking to expand abroad, dealing with ownership and operational matters;

Using tax treaties to avoid (Australian) CGT on the sale of local shares;

Creating dual residency scenarios to reduce the impact of tax on trust distributions;

Advising on the tax impact of the 5 options to move UK pension fund entitlements abroad (chiefly to Australia);

Working with IFAs to create tax effective savings vehicles for Australian residents.
